This is Stefano, ASCA Ch.Sunshines Stefano Have Mercy, CD  Stefano was my first breed/show quality Australian Shepherd and finished his ASCA and UKC Championships with ease, including an ASCA Best Of Breed and UKC Best In Show.  He was very easy to train and title in obedience, and had good herding instinct as well.  His temperament, beauty and utility is greatly missed from my breeding program.
About Us
True Blue K9s is a small but serious breeding endeavor dedicated to breeding  loving, faithful, family guardians who are visually beautiful, structurally correct with good movement, and have the intelligence with good temperament and solid nerves.  We are located in Wellington, Nevada, and are a family owned/operated dog establishment.   Our breeding dogs are screened for genetic defects via pedigree research, OFA/PennHip, CERF, CHIC, Animal Health Trust and more.   I am constantly researching new and different subjects regarding both breeds.  We only breed dogs who possess correct structure, and the breed type, extreme intelligence, working ability and vigorous health that attracted us to these two wonderful breeds to begin with.

Our adult dogs and puppies  are maintained in our
house and share our home with us.  They do not
live outside or in kennels!  They enjoy many daily
activities such as Agility, Sheep Herding, Schutzhund,
and Obedience practice, or just going on a fun hike up
the canyon.  Our dogs enjoy the luxury of sleeping on
our bed and eating the best food available.
They are groomed regularly  and rarely need to see the vet.

Email is the preferred first contact method. We can send info via email that will answer a lot of questions as we are not always able to answer the phone. Please tell us specifically what what you are looking for, what pets you currently own, family, why you want a puppy, what experience or not that you have with German Shepherds or Aussies, and the home you can provide for one of our puppies. Please include your phone # in the email so I know you are not a scammer!

Thank you for your interest in a True Blue K9!

On February 27th,2011 we welcomed our new son Jackson Michael Green into our family.  He was due March 13th but had to come a little early due to my cancer treatments.  He was only 4.11 at birth but is now a hefty 18 pounds at 8 months.  He is always happy and easily amused by his big brother Sam.
Some Dogs From Our Past
This is Irrenhaus Lady Di.  She was my first German Shepherd from American showlines.  She was also Sam's best show dog in 4H and helped him win MANY state level awards at a very early age!  She was a push botton show dog which made it fun for Sam to show her.
This is Shania, Woodlake's Black In Action.  She passed away last year at 12 yrs of age.  She was a sweet, willing girl and is deeply missed
This is Doc, Kensington's Hickory Dickory Doc Bar.  Doc was a purebred Aussie that we adopted from Washoe County Animal Services about 10 years ago.  Sam was about 2 years old when he started dabbling in 4H showmanship and obedience.  He showed Doc in ASCA Pee Wee classes and went up from there.  Doc was easy for Sam to handle and would do anything for him.  Sam is pictured with Doc after he had been stuffing his face with pizza at the Fun Match!  Doc enjoyed Agility and obtained his AKC and NADAC Novice Agility titles, learning the weaves super fast.  He also titled in Novice Obedience and earned high scores.
