The Eulogy

Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me mom
My spirit is near

I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running
New friends by my side

Smile at my memory
Remember in your heart
This isn't the end
It's a brand new start

Bright Eye's Make Dreams Happen

On Tuesday, May   2010, my sweet black tri girl Dreamee died suddenly from Gastoric Hemoragic Enteritis.  The day before she passed this photo was taken of her after a fun filled agility workout in our yard.  I had so many plans for Dreamee.  She was a happy, LOUD damn cute little black tri.  Dreamie was very special to me because she was very high drive and super typey.  She was the perfect dog for a mini AND standard breeding program.  I will always be greatful to Heather, Katie and Susan for letting her come to live with us at True Blue.

"Lola"
Our beautiful Lola was recently taken from us very tragically.   We came home one day to find her in seizure like convulsions.  The vet did a neocropsy but could not find anything conclusive as to the cause of her death.  She is terribly missed by all of us and was a very cherished member of our family.   She will be remembered as a loving companion, mother, and protector.  She was the best demo dog I've ever had for classes, and helped many kids win awards in Junior Handling and Agility.

Katch 22 Destiny Blue Sage
Sage was the drop dead gorgeous dog that started it all for me.  He was the single dog who sparked my interest in the Mini Aussies when I thought I was anti mini.   Sage possesed the type, and essence of the TRUE Australian Shepherd, even though he was 'only' 18 inches.  He had drive and nerves that amazed the Schutzhund people who didn't think an Aussie could do protection work.  This dog was taken way  too soon and will be missed by all of us forever.  I will always be grateful to Kathy Munson for letting him be part of our family.
Look at his beautiful flying trot!
Vom Staab Ace Of Spades

Photo Coming soon.

Ace was one of our first German Shepherds for Schutzhund.  He died at 5 years of age from Hermangio Sarcoma.  This dog was as nasty as he could be in protection training, and would challenge any of the club's trainers, yet my then 9 year old son could take him to his 4H classes with other dogs and children and he was a completely different dog.  With very little training he became a push-button performance dog for Sammy and would do anything for a toy.
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of  my heart with them.  And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart.  If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."
